Coordinates are saved strictly locally in your browser's localStorage (for up to 24 hours) to preserve your selected location across visits.
• Anonymous Solar Radiation Queries: To retrieve current UV index readings, only anonymous numerical latitude and longitude coordinates are transmitted to the Open-Meteo API, with zero personally identifiable data attached.
• IP Detection & Complete Control: On initial widget load, an approximate city may be detected based on your IP subnet via public geocoding gateways. You can revoke device location permissions at any time via your browser settings or select any city manually using our search panel.
